Festival FAQ’s

RiverFest is more than just a festival, it’s a celebration of downtown Tampa and 2.4 miles of the Tampa Riverwalk. We invite you to join in the fun, stay the weekend and have a great time. See you there!

Where can I park?

Parking is available at multiple locations along the event. We encourage you to park once, and walk the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk to all of the Riverwalk destinations. Travel by boat, kayak, Coast Bike Share, paddle board, and more!

Where can I stay?

Whether you’re coming in from out of town or having a weekend RiverFest staycation in Downtown, there are many waterfront hotels along the Tampa Riverwalk with easy access to all the events.

Is RiverFest free to attend?

RiverFest is free to attend and is open to all ages. Many of the events feature food and drink for purchase. The Tampa Downtown Carnival offers ride tickets for purchase at the event.

Can I walk with my drink on the Tampa Riverwalk?

You may stroll along the Tampa Riverwalk with an alcoholic beverage year-round if the drink was purchased from a designated Tampa Riverwalk licensed premise. Drinks purchased at RiverFest beverage stations are allowed on the Tampa Riverwalk for the weekend of May 2-3rd only. Please enjoy responsibly. Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are welcome on the Tampa Riverwalk, adjacent parks and RiverFest events.
